Districts

The reimagined Colbert Quarter offers a unique opportunity to develop a vibrant and sustainable urban neighbourhood and city quarter in the heart of Limerick. Well connected and supporting the social, economic and cultural wellbeing of the city, this vision for this new city quarter is shared by the people of Limerick and local leaders together with communities and businesses.

The goal is to create inclusive and integrated Districts with high quality sustainable homes, improved commercial and employment opportunities, enhanced green areas that promote the biodiversity of the area. The Districts will host a series of community and sporting and recreational activities set in an attractive public realm with a network of links to enhance wellbeing and integration with the surrounding community.
